Award winning executive producer, Roy Ackerman has joined Films of Record as Managing Director, as well as Director of International Strategy at the Zinc Media group.

Roy Ackerman’s track record is in building high profile independent production companies. He recently rebooted the television division at Pulse Films with a slate of prestigious commissions. Before that he transformed Jamie Oliver’s Fresh One Productions from a celebrity vehicle into a global multi-genre independent, creating award-winning content in commercials, digital video, drama, factual formats and documentaries with hits including Dream School and Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution. Before that he was Creative Director at Diverse Production where programmes like Man vs Wild andOperatunity and a raft of big documentaries helped the company grow until it was acquired by Zodiak.
