Fiona began her career in radio, with the Africa Service of the BBC, producing programmes for the Hausa and English Language services. Having won a place as a News Trainee, she worked in BBC National and Local Radio and TV newsrooms and then Current Affairs. She gained experience of managing live programming as an Output Editor on BBC Breakfast and Newsnight and then moved to the Music and Arts department to help launch the nightly live arts programme, The Late Show. During 5 years on Channel 4 News, Fiona worked on screen as Arts then Political Correspondent before returning to the BBC Current affairs department. As Editor of the BBC Foreign Affairs programme, Correspondent and then Executive Producer of political, social and history documentaries, Fiona won numerous awards from the Industry. She joined Zinc Media in 2006 and has Executive Produced programmes for all the major UK broadcasters, managed many international coproductions and won direct commissions from both international broadcasters and commercial clients including M &C Saatchi, Nobel Media, American and Chinese Broadcasters.
