Malaria is the deadliest disease in the world, killing millions
every year.
Fever Road tells the story of Peter Kombo, Chief
of Kiagware village in Kenya, as he battles through the malaria
season.
Many of his villagers, particularly the young, are dangerously
sick, and Chief Kombo struggles to get help for them from local
authorities.
He is faced with a deadly dilemma - stop treating the sick altogether
or turn to local herbalists and untrained doctors.

The Vaccine Challenge looks at the global efforts
taking place to combat malaria.
It explores the origins, transmission and control of the disease,
and the issues surrounding control of the mosquito.

economist Professor Jeffrey Sachs, and Gary Goode of mosquito control
and Dr Jean Malecki of the Health Department in Palm Beach, Florida
are doing to help control malaria.
